Activities and Programs
The Mid-Atlantic DEC is a private, nonprofit corporation comprised of experienced international business people committed to strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region's exports through:
- Seminars on developments in exporting and on exporting for the experienced exporter.
- Correspondence campaigns to local exporters regarding "hot" international trade issues.
- Correspondence campaigns to Congress on export regulation reforms.
- Directory of speakers on international trade. The Speakers Bureau includes professionals such as academics, bankers, lawyers, accountants, freight forwarders, customer house brokers, international sales managers and international marketing consultants who are qualified to speak on a wide variety of general and specific import/export matters.
- Student internship opportunities.
The Mid-Atlantic DEC invites comments on its mission and activities, and welcomes invitations to be of service to the international trade community.
